Welcome to Cranberry's Grocery & Eatery —
a natural and organic store/café
in the Shenandoah Valley.
We’re right around the corner from the Shakespeare
theatre in historic Staunton, VA and we serve both tourists and locals.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
And here we are in the lovely month of May!
May is Bodycare Month at Cranberry's, so we're chock full of new products to show off, all-natural bug repellents and sunblocks, and great stuff on sale.
On May 4 Lynn Ross, maker of our local Sunflower Organics line, will be here handing out free slathers of her famous lotions.
And on May 18, local olive oil soap maker Meika will be here doing hand-washing demo's.
May is also Gluten-Free Restaurant Month. Because we've been a certified gluten-free restaurant since 2009, we are proud to give a cheer for that!
May 12 is Mother's Day and yes, we will be open our regular Sunday hours: 7:30am-5:30pm.
May 18 is "Staunton Jams" - a day the merchants block off a downtown street and set up a stage set featuring FREE music from local musicians starting at 12 noon. Definitely a local must-see! Mos def.
May 18-19 is Mary Baldwin Commencement Weekend.
And May 27 is Memorial Day Monday. And YES - we are also open THAT day, for our regular Monday hours: 7:30am-5:30pm.
But did you know? Our on-going Wednesday-through-Saturday hours run later . . . 'til 7:30pm. So while you're at it, come see us for supper!
